APEX Global successfully conducted the course on Effective Data Security Measures on Payment Cards through PCI DSS. Executives from Bank of the Philippine Islands, Accenture and Landbank of the Philippines attended the training which provided awareness on the fundamentals and concepts of PCI DSS.
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is mandatory for any organization that handles payment card data. This standard provides a pragmatic framework for building a robust payment card data security process. Recently, the PCI Security Standards Council upgraded and published v. 2.0 of the standard.
The APEX Global course not only provided a discussion on the requirements for compliance to PCI DSS, but also touched on the key changes between v. 1.2 and v. 2.0. Ma. Hazel Santos, Bank Executive Officer of Landbank said that the training should be taken by their co-employees.
APEX Global is the training provider of choice in Southeast Asia. The next training course is on ITIL® (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) v3 Foundation from May 18-20, 2011 at New World Hotel, Makati. For more information, please call +632 403 8668 or email email@example.com.
